Adam, since we are both from NVA area(?), are there any local laws that connect to a type 03 license? I have contacted the VSP vial e-mail, but I am guessing that you would also be a good source for info. |

Nope. There's nothing I'm aware of that will limit your access to and use of an 03 FFL. Apply and enjoy! Adam Adam C. Firestone Editor-in-Chief CRUFFLER.COM http://www.cruffler.com |

The app is in their hands, I spoke with Va State Police and was referenced back to the atf site. I have not heard anything else in regards to local laws |

I live out in MD and have my C&R. In MD, they have all sorts of restrictions regarding "regulated firearms." As stated in MD law, only "regulated firearms" dealers (those who have a special license from the state of MD) may recieve or sell handguns and the like. I have yet to get a straight answer as to if this applies to C&R licensee's or not and I don't want to get into hot water by ordering a 1911. If anyone lives in MD and can help me out with this, it would be appreciated. |

Hello Adam, I have been a subscriber for over 2 year and really enjoy this site. It has been so helpful. I now have a questain perhaps you can help me with? I have a FFL 03 C&R current. A friend of mine just inheirited some old weapons and I want the CZ/27 pistol 32cal . circa 1937 and its on the ok list. I wanted to know if he can give it to me with a receipt or we have to go to the Maryland state police to handle where I live. He does not have a FFL,but lives in Maryland also. If you could help me I would appreciate it. Thanks

Cmomm you asked if: are there any restrictions (state) to own and use a C&R in New Jersey?? I'll say when a law enforcement officer comes fron another State to pick up a prisoner from N.J. and has by law to place his firearms unloaded in the trunk something is bad wrong. I truly wish you folks in N.J. and California would / could "dump" the wacko politicios who run those States. I have no answer as to your question, just a general observation. Walk lightly... Good luck with any and all answers. Regards..... |
