I would like to purchase a C&R pistol from SOG
and live in PA. Do I have to go through a 01ffl
or do I just log it into my bound just like the rifles

I have a 03 ffl

Don't quote me on this cuz I'm new to the C&R too but if the weapon qualifies as C&R eligible why would you have to go thru an 01 dealer? In ATF P5300.11 revised April 2004 there are quite a few pistols listed under Section II. Whats the point in having a C&R if one cannot use it to aquire weapons listed as C&R eligable? I mean ....it makes sense to me that you can deal direct ....but then again we are talking about our less than perfect federal government!
