I have ordered a few guns from a C&R dealer, so of course, they have my FFL. My question is why di I have to send proof of my age and a copy of my drivers license and a statement saying I'm not a felon, to buy ammo. You can't get a C&R if you are a felon. Can you? Roger |

C&R laws must be the misunderstood regs out there. I have no problems ordering ammo from Century, AIM, and SOG on my C&R on file with them. Is this dealer one of the bigger ones? I'd get your ammo from somewhere else. On the other hand, my favorite local shop makes me fill out paperwork/background check on every C&R I buy out of his shop. He provides me with other services( like holding guns on my word) that make it worthwhile. Have a good New Year all. Doug K in Oil City, PA |

Roger, Out of the many companies that I have dealt with, SOG often has the most clueless phone reps. Maybe you got some newbie? They ship quickly and have interesting stuff so I put up with a little inconvenience. Some won't. Good luck! |
