SOG has Ballester Rigauds for $279.95 in excellent arsenal refinished condition. Anybody got one? Like it? I think its just an earlier version of the Ballester Molina, which I already have. Should I get one????

If you want another BM with another name, go for it. Nothing collectible but a fine inexpensive mule of a handgun. I like the BM's. It was just earlier I think Molina was related to both families and was the CEO or chief engineeer.
I believe another wholesaler was offering them for about $50.00 less may have been BM's.

I have TWO of the ballister molina's and agree with Rhett, they are a ''mule''a veritable ''workhorse'' of a .45,and I am firmly of the opinion that you can never have too many tough, relatively inexpensive all steel .45's!You might also consider the Argentine hi-powers for your collection,I got one and[except for the military finish]it compares well with my expensive Belgian commercial Browning!

It's hard to beat some of the South American arms !
The Sistima Colt Argentine M1927's come to mind first of all then the BM's.
Missed my chances with the Hi-Power years ago, delayed buying one seemed like the next week they had doubled in price !
Thanks, Willyboy, I wondered how they were as I have heard good things about them.
Who knows one day.....Seems like now I'm suffering from the addiction I told you about in another message- the MN one.... :-)
Besides, I think the 35 was Saint JMB's last production design wasn't it ?

You sir, have excellent taste in firearms!Although I really like this forum and everybody who posts here[where else are you going to find this many really knowledgable folks?]I am not, myself a dealer, merely a dedicated ''student'' of firearms ,and in my own modest way, a collecter.

Thankie sir, I believe you do, too. I'm about like you, I carried one- handgun- for near on to thurtie years as a law enforcement officer and I do know what I like in wine/wimmin/song and firearms.
We step off into rifles especially, I like to have the wealth of knowledge found here and the "Net".
