I recently got a Swiss K31 rifle, and do not see any import markings visible on it. Unless I missed something when I had the stock off, I didn't notice any markings hidden under there either.
Jeez, my No.4 MK.1, they stamped the barrel so hard you can see the dent when you look through the bore. Have the requirements changed?
Not complaining, mind you. |

buy something from CAI and they will 'stamp it' about 3/8' high and on the 'receiver'--you can't miss that one |

My K31 is marked by CAI on the barrel almost at the end of the muzzle. Very small. What's surprising is that they put a larger marking (and marked it crooked BTW) on my CZ-52 pistol. Seems like they'd keep the marking smaller on a handgun so it'd be less noticeable. |
