I think one question that comes up again and again is how to asemble and disassemble many different C&R rifles. I know that I've asked it.

Maybe I'm the only one who took the 17 step program to being a CRUFFLER (see below) but I think that many others did this too:

1. Get the license
2. Buy a rifle
3. Field strip it, clean it, forget how to put it back togeather
4. Post a question here
5. Finally get it togeather 2 weeks later
6. Shoot it
7. Strip it all the way down, except for the parts that refuse to come apart
8. Post a question here
9. Get it apart, loosing a part
10. Look for the part
11. Order a replacement for the part
12. Find the part by stepping on it barefoot
13. Refinish the rifle
14. Put it half way back togeather; get confused
15. Post a question here
16. Finish putting it back togeather
17. Shoot it some more

So what if there were a source of complete Assembly/Disassembly instructions, with plenty of pictures, on all of your favorite C&R rifles...

I've found it!

(I swear I do not get money from these folks, I am just sharing a resource.)

I found "The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly / Disassembly Part IV: Centerfire Rifles." (c) 1980 by J.B.Wood.

It includes complete insutructions for 33 rifles, including:
Brit. SMLE No.1 Mk.3
Jap. Arisaka 99
Mouser 98
Mosin-Nagant
Schmidt-Rubin 1911 rifle (not the Colt 1911)
U.S. Krag-Jorgensen
U.S. 1917 Enfield
U.S. M1 Carbine
U.S. M1 Garand
U.S. Springifeld 1903
Winchester 1892, 1894

It also includes modern rifles, but that's off topic here.
